Dreamy classical music, interspersed with contemporary hits by the popular Zest musical group featuring Louisa Theart on flute, Albert Combrink on piano, Matthijs van Dijk on violin and Ariella Caira on cello, will further set the scene for bidding 2018 goodbye and setting sail for a new year.
Satisfy your senses with fresh and flavourful food options in this magical setting. The indulgent line-up features Nederburg Cuvée Brut poached fish terrine, wrapped in rice paper and served with crispy whitebait and capers dressing as a palate opener; Cantaloupe soup with lavash and minted coconut cream, with Nederburg The Winemasters Riesling 2018; beetroot cured salmon with black sesame blini and dill crème fraiche, served with Nederburg Heritage Heroes The Young Airhawk Sauvignon Blanc 2017; followed by pomegranate sorbet as palate cleanser.
As midnight creeps closer, get ready for a rich trio of lamb slow braised lamb Tortellini, lamb kofta with coriander yoghurt and profiterole, and lamb cutlets with potato fondant and salsa verde offered with the full-bodied Nederburg Heritage Heroes The Brew Master Bordeaux-style blend 2016. Next up is double baked gruyere and onion soufflé, with Nederburg Heritage Heroes The Anchorman Chenin Blanc 2017.
